The ABC Family has announced the return of several fan favorites in January 2015. Leading the pack are "Pretty Little Liars," "Switched at Birth" and "Chasing Life."

As anyone who has come across -- or at least heard of -- "50 Shades of Grey," the self-published e-book that has become a global phenomenon is having a movie adaptation that will be released on Feb. 13, 2015.

Wrestling fans are eager to know what happened at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England, during the WWE Smackdown last Monday. The event brought with it an unusual surprise, although this was not directly of the wrestling variety. The surprise had to do more with an unexpected business move.

What country music singer doesn't dream of taking part in the Country Music Awards (CMA) ? It seems that the answer is there's no country singer that doesn't dream of that, whether in real life or not. In Season 3, Episode 8 of "Nashville," that idea comes to life, when Rayna (Connie Britton) competes with Luke (Will Chase) for Entertainer of the Year during the series' version of the CMA.

There's just one more episode to go before the cast and crew of "Grey's Anatomy," which airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, before they temporarily pack up for their annual winter break. Season 11, Episode 7, entitled "Risk" will be shown on Thursday, November 20, 2014. It will be the last episode for the year.

"Creepy" isn't a word that you would usually associate with a TV show that goes back and forth between being a crime, action, and adventure series, or even all of it at the same time in some episodes. But when a crazed serial killer is added to the mix of characters in "Arrow" Season 3 Episode 7 entitled "Draw Back Your Bow," then it is close to impossible not to think of any other adjective aside from "creepy."

For a change, it appears the brothers Winchester -- Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) -- won't be facing supernatural creatures this time. Instead, there will be a murder victim, and Sam and Dean will do what they can to unravel the killer.

Fans of "General Hospital," and other TV series for that matter, tend to keep tabs of the comings and goings of cast members that they love primarily because they are concerned about what's going to happen to the character of a cast member who is dropping out. This week's last day spoilers for "General Hospital" (ABC, Monday to Friday at 2 p.m.) have something to do with such a casting situation.

The clock is ticking, and as Season 7 of "Sons of Anarchy" inches closer to the last episode, fans are kept in a state of strong unease. It's a good thing that Episode 11 ("Suit of Woe") will be aired on Tuesday, Nov. 18, over FX—that's a wait of just a few more days.

Showtime has recently renewed "Homeland" and "The Affair" for their fifth and second seasons, respectively. The new seasons will air on 2015. Both are still currently airing during Saturday nights.

The 17-year Hollywood Film Awards will be airing on CBS on November 14, 2014 as a 2-hour special. While there are currently more than enough Hollywood awards, Jack Sussman, CBS executive, believes that "it can use a show that has credibility and kicks off the awards season".
