Planned Parenthood abortionists tell pregnant woman they would 'break the baby's neck' if born alive

A former Planned Parenthood client has claimed that abortionists have told her that they were likely to "break the baby's neck" if the child somehow survives the abortion attempt.

In a video released by Pro-Life Action Ministries, a former Planned Parenthood client recounted her experience when she went to the facility earlier this year for a late term abortion.

Twenty-two weeks and one day into her pregnancy, the unnamed woman went to the Planned Parenthood facility in St. Paul, Minnesota to start a two-day abortion procedure.

The two abortionists, one male, one female, gave her a digoxin injection, which was meant to penetrate and kill the fetus before the delivery the next day. The woman explained that the abortionist had a hard time injecting the baby with the poison because he was moving a lot.

That night, the client had read a pro-life literature she received from Pro-Life Action Ministries. The literature included a story of a woman who backed out of her two-day abortion procedure and gave birth to a healthy baby, The Stream reported.

The woman recounted that prior to receiving the shot, she had no idea that injecting the baby with poison was part of the procedure.

"I think knowing that the baby had to get that shot, I think that's enough to change someone's mind," she said.

When the client asked to remove the dilators the next day, she asked for an ultrasound to check on the health of the baby. They found out that the baby was kicking and punching, with a strong heartbeat, but the woman was still pressured to go through with the abortion.

She then asked the doctors what they would do if she went through with the procedure and the baby is delivered alive.

According to the client, the female doctor responded to her question saying, "We don't tell women this, and a lot of women don't even ask this question, but if we was to proceed with the abortion and the baby was to come out still alive and active, most likely we would break the baby's neck."

The woman recounted that the doctors tried hard to convince her to go through with the abortion and told her that the baby would die within 48 hours anyway.

"Well, that's just the risk I'm going to have to take," she told the abortionists. "They didn't seem very happy about that at all. I made it a point that they were going to take those dilators out, and I was going to go home, and I was going to keep this baby," she said.

The woman later found out that the doctors had missed her baby and injected the poison into the sac around him.

Pro-Life Action Ministries' Executive Director Brian Gibson said that the infant "would have been alive" if she went through with the abortion because the injection failed to penetrate the fetus.

The Stream noted that breaking the infant's neck would be a violation of Minnesota's "Born Alive Infants Protection Act," as well as a federal law that includes babies "born alive at any stage of development" in its definition of "person," "human," "child" or "individual."

According to Life News, since the recording of the video, the baby has been born at full-term and doing very well.

Gibson is calling for an investigation of Planned Parenthood and he is encouraging people to share the video with their senators and ask them to defund the abortion provider.
