For the fifth time this month, Microsoft adds three titles to the ever growing catalog of the now popular Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program.

First on the list is the 2013 action video game "Killer Is Dead," which gives players the chance to step into the shoes of a suave executioner named Mondo Zappa.

He is not like any executioner as he wields a sword on his left and a biomechanical engineering, which can turn into all sorts of deadly weapons.

Players will explore in this new Xbox One Backwards Compatibility addition Mondo's world, which is described as a "bloody, ultra-violent world where biomechanical augmentations increase the power of criminal."

Joining "Killer Is Dead" in the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list is id Software's first-person shooter video game "RAGE," where gamers are brought into a not-so-distant feature where the world has wiped out humanity.

This Xbox One Backwards Compatibility game boasts, as per the description, "intense first-person shooter action, breakneck vehicle combat, an expansive world to explore and jaw-dropping graphics" that fans will enjoy on the Xbox One for sure.

The final game in this bunch of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility additions is multi-directional shooter video game "Shred Nebula" released first by Crunchtime Games in 2008.

The top down shooter gives players the chance to experience "the deep-space dogfight of your life" with a bunch of ships equipped with various weapons and designs to boot.

More than a week ago, Microsoft added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility catalog three games as well—"Galaga Legions," "Joe Danger 2: The Movie" and "The Orange Box."

The last one is a sweet deal as it actually includes a collection of hit games by Valve Corporation namely "Half-Life 2," "Half-Life 2: Episode 1," "Half-Life 2: Episode Two," "Team Fortress" and "Portal."

More games are expected to be added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility catalog in the months to come. So far, the collection is close to 300.
