Microsoft added two titles in its updated list. Recently, the company added "Scarygirl," which was published by Square Enix, and "Skate 3," which was developed by Electronic Arts. The company has yet to add all the games to the backward compatibility list, but it should be completed in due time.

To note, the backward compatibility feature won't cost players additional money. They don't need to pay extra to play the games that they already own. As long as players kept their Xbox 360 game saves, add-ons, achievements and Gamerscore, they can benefit from this feature. This works with disc-based games as well as for digital games.

To install and play disc-based Xbox 360 games, players simply need to insert the disc and let the download to initiate on the hard drive. Once the game has been downloaded, players need to keep the disc inside the drive to start playing.

Digital games, on the other hand, are on the "Ready to Install" section on the Xbox One console. Once the titles have been installed, players can find it in the Games section of the console. Players can only add Xbox 360 titles that have been included in the  backward compatibility list.

With this feature, gamers can experience the best of both consoles. With an Xbox Live Gold membership, players can indulge in multiplayer games and are allowed to chat with friends across Xbox One and Xbox 360. For Games with Gold subscribers, gamers receive a monthly dose of games. Players get numerous Xbox 360 titles that will be playable on theirf Xbox One console.
