Xbox Games With Gold List September 2014: List of Top Games for Free Download on Xbox 360

The list of free downloadable games for the Xbox has been recently updated for the month of September. This is probably to counter Sony's PlayStation Plus program. With the Gold Membership program, players and owners of Xbox consoles under this program will be able to download several titles for the Xbox 360 in the Xbox Market Place, free of charge.

In order to get these games, Xbox Live Gold members should just log-in to their Xbox 360 consoles or in the Xbox Marketplace and "purchase" (there's no actual charge to be made though) the said games that will be listed further in this article. This is an Xbox 360 exclusive feature, but you can expect this feature to be made available to Xbox One in the near future just as well.

Starting today, the game Super Time Force, will be made available, free of charge Xbox 360 owners. This is a game where gamers will be playing a 2D retrospective, over-the-top "Contra-ish" game with lots of explosions, 8-bit death and action. The main focus of the game, however, is the ability to go back in time, record your movements and create a devastating force of yourself. Awesome is not enough to describe how this game looks and plays out.

Another game called "Monaco: What's Yours is Mine" will also be made available free for Gold members, but the offer will only be good until September 15. This is a stealth-puzzle based multiplayer game about performing heists. It looks a little similar to Hotline Miami, but with less violence and more puzzle-solving.

Halo: Reach will also be included in the free games for the Xbox 360 this coming September 16 and aside from the fact that this is a prequel to Master Chief's exploits, the game really needs no introduction.

Some other games made free for August are also still available, so don't skip the chance to get them too!
