Fans of Jennifer Lawrence will get to see Hollywood's most in-demand actress in blue body paint, red hair, and yellow eyes for the last time in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse."

During the premiere night of her newest film "Serena" in New York over the weekend, Lawrence revealed that the next X-Men movie will be the last time she will play the role of the shape-shifting mutant Mystique in the Marvel superhero franchise, according to E! Online.

"It is my last one, actually. Yes," Lawrence said.

The news, however, is not surprising. The 24-year-old Oscar winner signed up for the movie franchise for only three contracts. Fellow cast members James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, who respectively play Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto in the blockbuster action film series, joined at the same time as Lawrence and reportedly also had contracts good for three films.

Also about to exit the franchise is Lawrence's off-screen former boyfriend and X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult who plays the character of Henry "Hank" McCoy, also known as the Beast. Hoult revealed last week to E! News that he will be playing the Beast for the last time in "Apocalypse."

"This is the last one I'm signed up for," Hoult reportedly said at the SXSW Festival.

However, Hoult said he is open to participating in more X-Men movies in the future. "The first one did so well and ["Days of Future Past"] got received so brilliantly," said the actor. "It's like, wow, people really want to see the films, and the best thing is, it's a great crew and cast to work with and he's a fun character. I have a good time playing him so I'd keep making them," he said.

Directed by Bryan Singer, "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set in the 1980s. The movie will hit the big screen on May 27, 2016.
