WWE Rumors: Rusev to turn face with match against Lesnar
Rusev has been a popular figure lately in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and the company may be rewarding him with a new storyline and push.
The Bulgarian Brute has been feuding with Roman Reigns lately as the United States Championship is on the line. He lost to Reigns and failed to regain the title in a few tries, but now it seems that he is headed in a new direction. This time, he will be going up against more big names in the company.
It appears that Rusev may be feuding against Brock Lesnar and this is a great deal for Rusev as he continues to rise in popularity.
Despite being a heel for most of his career, Rusev is popular among the fans and some absolutely love to hate him. The attention is now going to help him as talks are saying that a Dec. 3 card in Mexico City will feature Lesnar going up against Rusev.
The WWE Live Event will be viewed by a lot of fans and it will give Rusev a chance to show what he can do against top-notch competition.
He has done well against Reigns and has helped Reigns get his push as well. Now it is Rusev's turn and with his style in the ring clashing with Lesnar, it should be an affair that Mexican fans will not forget.
If Lesnar remains a heel in this match-up, it should be a big deal because Rusev will now turn face for what appears to be the first time in his WWE career.
The turn may be a long journey, as the company will want to be careful. The fans might reject him, just like what happened with Reigns.
Rusev is great in the ring and with his off-the-ring promos so it is understandable why he is getting this kind of push.
