The new era of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is still in its early stages, but it appears that big names are already set for a move from one brand to the other.

Rumors claim that one of Raw's more popular stars, Kevin Owens, might be changing brands soon, and he may represent SmackDown Live in the near future.

According to reports, it appears that Owens may be regretting the result that led him to Monday Night Raw, and believes that he will do better with SmackDown.

Playing the heel in SmackDown should help him as he can get more time in the ring as he goes up against the likes of Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler.

It is also reported that apart from Owens' possible move, there is a possibility of Randy Orton moving as well.

At the moment, Orton is with the SmackDown Live brand but can make a move to Raw soon.

Orton is also a quality superstar who can match-up against anyone. However, his current rivalry is with Raw superstar Brock Lesnar and being drafted by different brands will stop any development in the feud between the two.

As a result, the switch may be Owens to SmackDown and Orton to Raw which will definitely work out for both parties.

Speculations also suggest that Owens' possible move to SmackDown will help him re-ignite his feud with Sami Zayn who was once his best friend.

Owens burst into the scene of the WWE as a great heel as he matched up against stars like John Cena while he made a name for himself in the industry.

Now that he is a well-known commodity, Owens may very well help SmackDown Live and its ratings as he will have a relevant rivalry and can also be one of the big stars of the brand.

It remains to be seen how this switch will happen, if at all. But expect fireworks within the WWE in the coming weeks.
