WWE Rumors: Goldberg may battle The Undertaker at Wrestlemania

Fans of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) were in for a treat as Bill Goldberg made his much anticipated return after years away from the wrestling scene.

The WWE landscape was moving from one to another, with the new breed of superstars carrying the load of the company. However, many wanted that old school touch and it is exactly what they got when Goldberg returned.

Many rejoiced as he challenged another huge superstar, Brock Lesnar. But now, rumors are circulating that Goldberg may be set to face another legend in the game.

Despite his rivalry with Lesnar making the headlines, people are now looking forward to other challenges for Goldberg, and The Undertaker looks like a great match for him on paper. Many cannot think of a better place for the epic battle than in Wrestlemania 33.

Fans are aware that Lesnar and The Undertaker only make rare appearances due to their age and status. They only usually appear when there is a pay-per-view event and yet fans still flock to the stadiums to watch them.

It is apparent that the company is also placing Goldberg in the same boat and it is warranted as he is now older and may have only a few matches left in him.

With that, then it is entirely possible that the creative heads of WWE make a storyline to revolve around them. It has happened before with Lesnar and The Undertaker, with the former infamously breaking the Dead Man's streak in Wrestlemania.

It appears that talks between a Goldberg and Undertaker match in Wrestlemania may happen as well.

Many are wondering if Goldberg can add his name to the short list of those who have beaten The Undertaker in Wrestemania.

As for The Undertaker, he has done everything and a big win over Goldberg in Wrestelmania could be the perfect ending to his legendary career.
