The first PC patch for "WWE 2K17" was finally dispatched last month, following players' complaints that this port has been forgotten in favor of next-gen consoles, which have already been updated several times since the game was released.

However, the patch may not have resolved all the issues of the PC port. iDigital Times reported that the PC users, some of whom are already irate because of the seeming lack of support prior to the arrival of the first update, complained that they continued to experience gameplay issues, including lag.

The report also stated that the delay in the arrival of the first patch has now led to some players fearing that the PC version will be abandoned in favor of next-gen consoles, especially in the light of the first dispatched update not resolving the major issues reported by the gamers.

However, it is worth noting that the PC version of the game was just released via Steam on Feb. 7, with the downloadable content (DLC) already available. The PlayStation (PS) 3, PS 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 versions were released earlier on Oct. 11, 2016. Given that the next-gen consoles have been in the market for a longer time, it makes sense that the game will also have more updates compared to the one that was just recently made available.

In another "WWE 2K17" news, players can now purchase the "Hall of Fame" DLC, which allows them to recreate the most well-known matches in the history of WWE, as well as the addition of new competitors such as Diamond Dallas Page, along with new costumes and arenas. The DLC is already available for Xbox and PS players for $9.99, although it will be released for PC in the near future. Those who have already purchased the Season Pass can download this without any additional payments.
