'Watch Dogs 2' release date news update 2016: Latest gameplay video reveals costume customization, drone mini-game and new weapon upgrades
A new gameplay teaser video for the upcoming action shooter video game "Watch Dogs 2" reveals more details about the new gameplay contents that the sequel will introduce. The fans of the first game will have a different experience in the sequel, but nevertheless being the same in terms of action-packed and thrilling sequences.
A new gameplay video posted by Arekkz Gaming on its Youtube channel shows the new contents that the gamers must check out once "Watch Dogs 2" is released. Even though the game will be released a few weeks from now, Arekkz was able to get the game and have the first experience of the sequel.
As reported by VG 24/7, the video shows more of the main character, Marcus Holloway, and the new tricks that he can use to accomplish his missions. Being a highly skilled computer hacker, Marcus is able to deploy several drones like the quad-copter, which can fly around the skies and put the location below it under surveillance. He can also deploy the land-based RC jumper to sneak around the enemy units on the terrain. Arekkz noted that the missions can be done by either using the drones or by playing Marcus' character himself to attack.
Speaking of the drones, "Watch Dogs 2" is also revealed to have mini games outside of the main gameplay, where Marcus' quad-copter will be used to perform a specific actiom. The end of the video shows the mini game where the quad-copter is having a checkpoint race.
The video also shows more about the new costume customization feature in "Watch Dogs," where the players can customize the appearance of Marcus and choose from the set of clothes and accessories in different shops. Aside from the clothes, the players can also customize his vehicles and weapons in the DedSec headquarter, Yibada reported. There will be weapons that were not shown in the first "Watch Dogs," and these will be very useful for Marcus to do his job.
"Watch Dogs 2" involves Marcus Holloway and DedSec trying to stop the corrupted Blume corporation and its ctOS 2.0 system in infesting the lives of the San Francisco residents. Blume's top executive and the main villain of the sequel, Douchan Nemic, will not make it easy for Marcus to accomplish his goal.
"Watch Dogs 2" will be released on Nov. 15 in PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platform.
