According to an exclusive report by TMZ, the announcement of the venue city was intentionally delayed for fear of giving potential terrorists time to organize an attack. The decision to take the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2016" to Paris has been made earlier this year, and show officials have reportedly been in talks with the French national security in devising countermeasures for possible terrorist plots.

The high-profile event is expected to draw big-named celebrities in droves, thus making it a likely target for an attack. This may be the reason why the show officials have decided to share details about the event this late into the year, instead of the usual spring announcement.

A teaser promo posted on the official Victoria's Secret YouTube channel came with a few general details about the show, which will be launching the popular brand's latest flagship lingerie collections. The event will also feature the brand's PINK collections in a regular segment that began in 2006. PINK is a subsidiary lingerie line that caters to younger women.

As for the roster of models strutting down the runway, the official Victoria's Secret site has already revealed this year's stellar lineup of Angels which includes fashion show regulars Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Lily Aldridge among others.

The "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2016" will be held at the Grand Palais and is scheduled to air on CBS on Monday, Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. EDT.
