'Unreal' season 2 finale spoilers: Coleman bent on destroying 'Everlasting'? Who's going to jail in season ender?
The penultimate episode of "UnReal" season 2 had Quinn and Rachel joining forces to take Coleman down in order to save their behinds. Are the two willing to settle their difference for the sake of their careers and "Everlasting," or is three simply a crowd for them?
Episode 9, which was titled "Espionage" focused more on the power struggle between Quinn (Constance Zimmer), Rachel (Shiri Appleby), and Coleman (Michael Rady), with the two women trying to one-up the latter to stop him from exposing the deep, dark secret on the set of reality-show-within-a-series "Everlasting." There was no mention of an unarmed Romeo who was shot by a police officer or of Rachel's revelation that she was a rape victim at 12 years old.
Coleman initially started as a good guy keen on helping Rachel on the show, but how the tides have changed. According to Carter Matt, the fact that Quinn had overtaken him is a bitter pill to swallow for Coleman, and because he sees a bleak future for himself, he has set his sights in destroying "Everlasting" armed with crucial information – Mary's (Ashley Scott) death. Now, Coleman is hell bent on exposing it, which could mean big trouble for Quinn and Rachel.
In the season finale titled "Friendly Fire," Coleman has the evidences from Rachel's confessions, and he was able to hack her phone conversation with Quinn. However, just when it seems the odds are in his favor, Rachel would decide to stand up to him, especially after he breached her privacy.
Apparently, Rachel would expose him to Quinn, and a heartbroken Quinn would channel her sadness into anger and take it out on Coleman. The promo trailer for "UnReal" season 10's finale shows Coleman being forcefully arrested who also took away his documents and laptop.
It seems Quinn raised her A-game against Coleman, but with Coleman gone, why Rachel call the cops again? Is she having someone arrested? That's something the season finale would answer.
"UnReal" season 2 finale will air on Aug. 8, Monday, at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
