'Two And A Half Men' Cast News, Spoilers: Charlie Sheen Returning?
Charlie Sheen has undeniably made his mark playing the role of Charlie Harper in "Two and a Half Men."
Although Ashton Kutcher has done his job well after he stepped in to fill the gap left by Sheen's abrupt exit, the fact remains that Sheen still has fans who long for his return.
The question is, would such a possibility even be entertained by Charlie Sheen?
The answer is a resounding "yes." Sheen has already expressed his eagerness to return to the top-rating CBS sitcom.
It is still imprinted in the minds of many how Sheen appeared to have lost control of himself a few years back. His personal issues affected his professional decisions to such a degree that his own career, and even those of the rest of the cast, as well as the production team of the sitcom were affected.
However, Sheen appears to have bounced back from the past. In an interview with TV Guide, Sheen said he would like to be a part of the season finale, the very last episode of "Two and a Half Men." Sheen also explained to Extra TV that he owes the show and his fans some level of closure.
According to Sheen, he has reached out to the producers of "Two and a Half Men" and they were warm about his offer. However, some industry insiders claim that such discussions never took place, much less that anyone who could decide for the sitcom was interested.
This uncertainty comes on the heels of another situation that isn't pleasing, as well. Earlier, it had been reported that Sheen's ex-fiancée, Brett Rossi (aka Scottine "Scotty" Sheen) was hospitalized due to an apparent overdose from prescription drugs, which happened right after their break-up. It was Charlie who called off the engagement mid-October of this year.
From the latest updates, however, it's now being said that Scotty did not overdose intentionally, but was instead hospitalized because of an unexpected unpleasant reaction to medication prescribed by her doctor.
