Everybody is worried about the people that crossed the path of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors, but fans may have just been given a reason to worry about Carol (Melissa McBride).

She has a very different situation, though. Instead of someone else giving her the death sentence, Carol might be considering ending her own life.

"She's definitely got some healing to do in her mind and where she wants to be on this earth," McBride told ComicBook.com in explaining what to expect from her character in "The Walking Dead" season 7.

However, she added that the issue is actually more of an "if" than "when." The actress revealed that Carol will first have to provide an answer to the question of whether "she wants to stick around or what."

There are legitimate fears regarding Carol biting the dust because her comic book counterpart in the comics created by Robert Kirkman, she was killed early on by voluntarily baiting herself to a walker.

"The Walking Dead" has deviated from the source material with regards to the duration of her survival. However, it is still possible that Carol might die the same way her character did in the comics.

In the previous season, Carol no longer wanted to continue, but Morgan (Leslie James) helped him and tried to convince her that all life is precious. He will still do so in "The Walking Dead" season 7.

It appears that they will end up in The Kingdom, where they will be able to find shelter following the destruction of Alexandria.

If "The Walking Dead" season 7 will kill off Carol, it appears that fans will suffer big losses this season knowing the fact that in the premiere, one character will also be Lucilled to death.

Who that will be is as big of a mystery as Carol's fate in the new season, which premieres Sunday, Oct. 23 on AMC.
