"The Sims 4" will be coming up with a new expansion pack, offering exciting and intriguing add-ons that allow for users to turn their Sims into detectives, doctors, business managers, scientists, and even murderers, recent announcements revealed.

The DLC expansion pack, the Inquistr said, is basically a hybrid of its two popular extensions "The Sims 3: Ambitions" and "The Sims 2: Open for Business."

Game creator Maxis confirmed the new content from Electronic Arts will be available in either digital or disc, arriving on Mac at a price of £30 or $40, which is considered rather expensive.

The developer has launched a full blast promotional campaign for the expansion pack of "The Sims 4: Back to Work" on different social media platform with official news and trailers.

"Connect the dots. Solve the crime. Learn about Detectives in The Sims 4 Get to Work," Maxis posted on the official Twitter account of The Sims on Feb. 28.

Allowing the players to open and operate a retail business or micromanage their Sims through myriad set of careers, gamers will also be able to create their own mini Rust Cohles.

Careers include medicine, law enforcement, and science that can pique the interest of the gamers as it gives them more options in playing their favorite Sims.

With the expansion pack, players can now check out what their Sims are doing while they are at work and see how Sims following a medical career are saving lives at the hospital.

And it doesn't stop there. A new disease mechanic career poses a new challenge to users as they try to cure their fellow Sims while players can see how would-be-detectives Sims solve crimes.

Users can also turn their Sims into devils as the new disease mechanic allow Sims to murder other Sims.
