'The Sims 4' DLC release date news news: 'City Life' DLC reportedly in the works; New apartments, diverse neighborhoods included?
The next downloadable content (DLC) for "The Sims 4" will be called "City Life." This is according to a new leak that surfaced online.
A listing of what was referred to as "The Sims 4: Vida na Cidade," which translates to City Life, was spotted on the official website for video game rating in Brazil.
The DLC was listed to have been produced at 2016 and it is believed that it is the next expansion pack to hit "The Sims 4." The listing pertaining to it, however, has been removed.
Previous iterations of the popular life simulation game have received the same type of expansion pack. Electronic Arts released a "Town Life" DLC for "The Sims 3."
With that said, it is entirely possible that "The Sims 4" will get the so-called "City Life" expansion pack. The question now is when the DLC will be released. The listing reported hinted a Sept. 17 release.
With regards to what the DLC will offer, rumor has it that it will include apartments where the Sims can live in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.
It is also expected that vampires will be added through "The Sims 4: City Life" DLC much like the "Late Night" pack in "The Sims 3."
Sims Community also harked back to the 2015 survey that mentions a DLC called Metropolis, which came with the description:
"Live in new apartments and penthouses, eat food at carts and shop at street markets and immerse your Sims in the different cultures of the city by exploring the many diverse neighborhoods."
The latest additional content released for the game – the "Backyard Stuff" was back in early July. Prior to that, the "Kids Room Stuff" was made available late June.
EA is yet to make things official about "The Sims 4: City Life" DLC though so for now, gamers will have to stand by and be on the lookout for new information.
