A new update for "The Sims 4" has been released to honor Day of the Dead. A bunch of new content has been added to the popular life simulation game to help Sims celebrate.

"We have just a quick content add for you, so without ado of a furthering type... the New Stuff," Electronic Arts (EA) announced on "The Sims 4" forums.

"Some new stuff for your Sims to celebrate the Day of the Dead...which technically isn't until the end of October, but they're Sims. So, technically any day can be the end of October," they added.

New set of clothing for the Sims have been made available from the Create A Sim panel so players can get into the Day of the Dead spirit.

Sims receive a brand new full body horror-inspired getup complete with the face makeup with female Sims getting new hair and male Sims a new hat.

For the young ones, the exciting Day of the Dead update for "The Sims 4" gives them a unique Halloween-themed outfit and look as well.

With the garb ready, the Day of the Dead update for "The Sims 4" also gives Sims some decorations that will aid them to push the boat out.

The update makes available a couple of new wall hangings in addition to a table, a number of candles, and a sculpture. To purchase them, search up "Day of the Dead" in Buy Mode.

Last but not the least, "The Sims 4" Halloween-themed update also adds a new recipe for Pan de Muerto, which can be found on the Cook interaction.

Fans can get a load of the Day of the Dead update as they wait for the highly-anticipated "City Living" expansion pack coming this November.

EA detailed on its blog the locations to visit in San Myshuno –Spice Market, Arts Quarter, Fashion District, and the Uptown.
