A lot of drama unfolded during the season 11 reunion of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." Vicki Gunvalson, who has spent the majority of the season apologizing to her on-again/of- again gal pals, vigorously denied her involvement in her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers' cancer scheme.

The reunion was intense and exhausting for most of the housewives. Shannon Beador recently told E! that she felt "drained" after the reunion, and that it eventually made her feel exhausted for a full day.

Tamra Judge, on the other hand, was just happy that they got through. The housewife told the news outlet that it's only been her third reunion, but it was nasty. Furthermore, Judge said that the reunion started nice and easy but it just spiralled down from there.

During the reunion, Gunvalson insisted on her innocence, claiming that she should have investigated him thoroughly. She admitted that she had been very busy and preoccupied doing her own thing that she missed what Ayers was up to all that time.

"Obviously they were right — you all were right and I was wrong. I'm good admitting that. I don't care anymore. I'm over it," she told the rest of the housewives. The 54-year-old reality star also admitted that she now sees her ex-boyfriend as a bad guy.

"I was made a fool of through it — and I believed him," she said. "I really, sincerely learned a lot from him. It wasn't all bad, but it ended horribly," she added.

Though she maintained that she had nothing to do with Ayers' scam, her former friend Shannon Beador wasn't quick to believe her statement. Beador accused her of knowing Ayers' scheme before the filming of the previous season. Gunvalson told the housewife that she isn't lying, and that she isn't going to talk about it any further.

Towards the end, viewers were able to see Gunvalson telling the rest of the housewives on their trip to Ireland that she wanted to go to heaven, so she could meet Ayers. She also told the host Andy Cohen that she kind of misses her ex-boyfriend.

For the uninitiated, Ayers falsified documents related to his cancer diagnosis. Moreover, he denied the speculations suggesting that Gunvalson had encouraged him to falsify documents for the sake of the reality show.

Viewers can catch "The Real Housewives of Orange County" on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. EST.
