The Mentalist Season 7 Release Date, Cast Spoilers: Big Drama Set for Final Season Plot
The Mentalist is not in the CBS line up this fall. The production team is still filming the new season's episodes so fans will have to wait a little longer to see what happens next on the popular drama series. To date, there have been no official announcements as to the exact air date.
Fans are speculating that this will be the last season for the much-loved show, although there is no official word about that yet either too.
According to TV Line, Josie Loren will be the newest addition to the cast of the show. It has been officially announced that she will be taking on a major role this upcoming season.
The Make it or Break It star will be playing the role of Michelle Vega who will work for Patrick Jane's FBI team. Her character will be someone who has "never heard of Jane, knows nothing of his methods or past, and casts a skeptical eye on his unorthodox, rule-busting ways", as TV Line puts it.
A photo of the cast filming inside an airplane hangar was recently spotted on the show's Twitter account. The first episode of the season was reportedly entitled "Pink Rocks" but the production team has decided to re-label it.
Again, those pinning for an exact airdate will be sad to find out that there have been no official announcements yet. Fans are not expecting any announcements either until other things are shifted around or cancelled. However, it is speculated to air sometime in December 2014 or early 2015.
