The Mentalist' Season 7 Mid-Season Premiere Spoilers, Recap: Jane and Lisbon Face Lazarus Together

It's a bittersweet thing for fans of "The Mentalist," which is currently on its final season. Fans can't wait to see how the show, which first aired in 2008, will come to an end.

Reports say that Jane (Simon Baker) will be retiring from his post and leave his F.B.I. duties for good, although he will be solving crimes till the end of the show. Towards the end of the series, Jane and Lisbon (Robin Tunney) will be facing Lazarus together. Lazarus is a psychopath and murderer disguised as an exterminator.

In the mid-season premiere of "The Mentalist," entitled "Green Light," which aired last Jan. 7, Patrick Jane celebrated his birthday with Teresa Lisbon and they both had a wonderful time. It was apparent that both of them had done their best to keep their romantic relationship outside of their working relationship.

Meanwhile, Abott's boss wanted him to keep quiet about the unlawful activities of the agency, which made him weigh the importance between his morals and his career.

As for the finale, it has been revealed that it will be split into two episodes entitled "Brown Shag Carpet" and White Orchids." It will be full of suspense as Lazarus the serial killer arrives.

In other news, "The Mentalist" has done well in terms of viewership. The viewers increased 1 million during the episode last Dec. 28, and the numbers could increase towards the end of the show. To fans, here's to hoping that "The Mentalist" ends with flying colors!
