'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' release date, latest news: Japanese TV trailer released

Nintendo has recently released an official Japanese television trailer for their forthcoming open world role-playing video game, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

The Japanese TV trailer is only 30 seconds long, but according to GameRant, the promo video manages to encompass all of the appealing aspects of the upcoming video game while also revealing new footage from the game that is yet to bee seen. There are also intense action sequences shown in the trailer, one of which features Link fighting with a sand monster. Another scene shows him battling a fire-breathing adversary.

The latest trailer for "Breath of the Wild" also showed off some of the video game's breathtaking and gorgeous environments, landscapes, and settings. In another scene, Link and his horse are seen blazing a trail across a rock-strewn beach as the sun sets in the background.

As previously reported, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" has officially gone gold. The development team at Nintendo and Monolith have recently finished up with the game's production and even threw a warp-party for the video game in Japan. The title is also confirmed to have been sent off for manufacturing.

The file size for "Breath of the Wild" weighs heavy at 13.4 GB — almost half the hard drive capacity of the upcoming game console, the Nintendo Switch. Although the game has been greenlit for manufacturing, the developers may still be working on day one patch until the game is officially launched.

However, Nintendo recently confirmed that the game will also have a $20 DLC pass which comes with multiple expansion packs and more.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2017. Its launch date is set on the same day as the arrival of the upcoming hybrid game console, Nintendo Switch. It is also the last video game developed by Nintendo specifically for the Wii U.
