'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 episode 9 spoilers: Stephen Hawking back to help gang

Theoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking will once again be part of the next episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 titled "The Geology Elevation."

Hawking first appeared in the fifth season of the series in the episode titled "The Hawking Excitation," where Howard (Simon Helberg) was revealed to have been working with him.

According to leaked details about "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 9, Howard will be able to dig up an old remote control, which will allow him to operate a Hawking action figure that he made.

Everyone believes that it is offensive and ultimately, the gang decides to contact the Presidential Medal of Freedom awardee himself to speak with him instead.

Whether he will make an appearance or just lend his voice (which he did before in several episodes in the series) in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 9 remains to be seen.

The leaked spoilers suggest that the renowned theoretical physicist will admit during this talk with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and the gang that he is not happy for never winning a Nobel Prize.

The major storyline in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 9, however, is Sheldon being envious of Amy's (Mayim Bialik) friend Bert (Brian Posehn), who receives a $500K MacArthur Genius Grant.

As Sheldon expresses his frustration, he keeps accidentally hurting himself in the process, which will serve as the running gag in this episode.

As seen in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 9 promo, Sheldon drops a huge rock on his foot by accident while he talked to Leonard (Johnny Galecki), who laughed so hard he burst a blood vessel in his nose.

Bert's win makes Sheldon realize of a far better blessing he has—Amy. Bert will admit in this episode how lucky Sheldon is for having her as he himself has feelings for her.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 9, "The Geology Elevation" will air Thursday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
