When it was first announced, "The Avengers: Infinity War" was supposed to be split into two parts. Marvel Studios has changed "Part 1" into "Infinity War" while "Part 2" has remained untitled; Marvel head-honcho Kevin Feige takes time to talk about the changes and what's in store for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In an interview with IGN, Fiege clarifies the decision to make "Infinity War" one movie. He says, "There's a reason we have publicly called the first one 'Infinity War' and the second one 'Untitled,' because the movies we were developing were not -- certainly there's a connection, there are with all our movies -- but it's not a first part and a second part... It's a whole movie and a whole story, and then a whole movie and a whole story."

Feige also takes time to talk about "The Avengers 4" and what fans can expect from it. He says that they will be intercutting a lot of different stories in the movie and that it would be "fun" to mix it up. He also says that "everybody's there," which some fans speculate is a hint on the possible appearance from the Defenders from the Marvel Netflix Universe.

A lot of fans have been clamoring for an appearance of the Netflix heroes in the movies, but so far the MCU has not been able to deliver. With the movies crowded with enough characters, it may prove to be a stretch to have the likes of Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) appear side-by-side with Avengers like Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).

Hopefully, Marvel Studios finds a way to give fans what they want.

"The Avengers: Infinity War" hits cinemas on May 4, 2018.
