'The 100' season 4 spoilers: Octavia slips into deadly assassin mode

Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will go down a dark road as she deals with the death of Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) in "The 100" season 4.

In the previous season, Octavia's downward spiral began after killing Pike (Michael Beach), who is one of the people responsible for the death of her beloved.

Teasing Octavia's journey in "The 100" season 4 to TVLine, executive producer Jason Rothenberg said "Octavia's story in season 4 is amazing."

"She's got quite a journey ahead of her, and it gets darker before it gets lighter. She's taking a detour into assassin land. She'll do whatever she feels she needs to do to hide the pain from the loss of Lincoln," he went on to say.

The question Octavia will answer come "The 100" season 4 is "Who is she now that Lincoln is gone, and that her brother — in her mind — is responsible for so many difficult choices?"

That being said, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and she will have to try very hard to repair their broken relationship especially with him having a hand in the death of Lincoln.

Nevertheless, Octavia's story connects with that of Bellamy, who will be very protective of his sister in "The 100" season 4, but realizing at some point that Octavia is "her own person and that he needs to let her figure things out for herself."

During set visits, the crew works hard for Octavia to be hidden as it can get spoilery. This suggests that even her appearance will reveal big details on what she will be up to come "The 100" season 4.

There are rumors that she will be pregnant in the new season as it was teased before that one of the characters will don a baby bump.

It will be interesting to see if that will be the case especially because the things she will do in "The 100" season 4 will be in honor of Lincoln.

As the wait for the show's return continues, fans would not want to count on executive producer Aaron Ginsburg for spoilers or even behind the scenes photos.
