'The 100' season 4 spoilers: New season to be 'wild ride'; Raven saves the day?
The stakes have never been higher for Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and company in "The 100" season 4 with the upcoming season expected to be a bloody one.
Although filming for the new season is ongoing, post-production for the series has begun. Supervising sound editor Charlie Crutcher took to Twitter to tease that post-sound is being worked on at the moment.
He also teased that "The 100" season 4 will be a "wild ride," which comes as little surprise knowing that the third season with the dawn of a brand new threat.
The group will deal with the fallout of what happened in the fourth season with nuclear explosions set to render the planet inhabitable in six months unless Clarke and the gang find a way to stop that.
Their disposition in the face of such apocalyptic disaster will be the meat of "The 100" season 4. Although Clarke is expected to find a way to save the planet, others believe they should make the best of their remaining days in what they think is a doomed world.
Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is expected to somehow step in and help save their home. After her encounter with ALIE (Erica Cera), she will never be the same again, according to her portrayer.
"It's not the same Raven, she got the ALIE upgrade, so she's definitely like a Raven 2.0," Morgan told Variety of what her character will be like in "The 100" season 4.
"I think she went through an evolution, she's not only stronger mentally because of the knowledge ALIE left behind, but emotionally and spiritually, she's been to hell and back, she didn't die, so I feel like she's a totally different Raven on a totally different level, ready to take on the biggest enemy yet," she added.
With that said, it appears that Raven will be vital in their bid to save the planet. The question is if she will actually be up to the responsibility.
"The 100" season 4 will premiere early next year on The CW.
