'The 100' season 4 spoilers: Bellamy screams in pain, Octavia in action in extended trailer

A promotional still from "The 100" season 4, episode 1, "Echoes" | The CW

An extended trailer for "The 100" season 4 has been released with new footage from the highly anticipated season, which will find Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and company survive a nuclear apocalypse.

The clip shows more of Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) in action as she exacts her revenge on those responsible for the death of Lincoln (Ricky Whittle). Bellamy (Bob Morley) can also be seen screaming in what fans could imagine is excruciating pain.

From the looks of it, he might already be experiencing the effects of the melting nuclear plants, which, as seen in "The 100" season 4 trailer, will take thousands of innocent lives and counting.

The extended "The 100" season 4 trailer shows a bit more of the brutality, bloodshed and death that abound in the upcoming season as people start to clash in the face of the nuclear meltdown.

Many of them blame Clarke for putting them in the horrible situation they are in. She, on the other hand, makes it her responsibility to lead everyone to safety or at least help them survive, with Bellamy (Bob Morley) by her side.

There are those who plot to steal her power. Echo (Tasya Teles) can be seen telling an unseen someone, who is believed to be Roan (Zach McGowan) to "kill Wanheda, take her power and take over everything."

This is just one of the kinds of disposition that fans will see the characters will have in "The 100" season 4 in the face of the end of the world. There are those who choose to live life to its fullest instead of fighting.

This is how Jasper (Devon Bostick) deals with the apocalypse. Instead of fighting a losing war, he chooses to smile more, drink more and high five more.

The CW deliberately keeps the details at a minimum with "The 100" season 4 premiere, "Echoes." The synopsis reads: "Clarke and her friends struggle with how to proceed after the fate of the world is revealed."
