Clarke is desperate to prevent a war on the upcoming episode of "The 100" season 4.

Titled "The Tinder Box," next week's episode will see whether or not Clarke's plan will succeed. According to the official synopsis, Clarke is hell-bent on keeping her people safe and alive. In order to avoid a war, she decides to make a desperate plea with a formerly allied force. The group must also deal with the aftermath of Nyko's (Ty Olsson) death.

Meanwhile, Wednesday's hour saw things get worse for Luna (Nadia Hilker). Just when viewers thought she already hit rock bottom last week, Luna experienced yet another major loss in her life. The group had to travel to Becca's (Erica Cerra ) abandoned laboratory, and they all struggled, especially Raven (Lindsey Morgan), during the journey. Although most of them made it out safe and alive, Nyko was one of the unlucky ones who didn't survive.

Hilker recently caught up with TV Line, and she revealed that she was surprised when she learned about Nyko's death. "It feels like Luna has been crying in every episode so far. She keeps losing people!" she said.

Despite everything that has happened, the actress admitted that Luna's tragic losses "makes her arc far more interesting" because it will reveal another side of her character no one has ever seen.

As for Luna's decision to help Skaikru, Hilker stressed that she still doesn't trust them. They exploited her nightblood for their own sake, and she hasn't forgotten that. "Even though she agrees to help them, at no point does she like any of these people," Hilker explained. "There's a beautiful moment between Luna and Murphy next week, but she's still not going to be friends with anyone," the actress added.

The fourth season of "The 100" airs every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
