The newest "Super Smash Bros" game has over 40 characters in total and is introducing three new ones namely: Mario's lookalike nemesis Wario, Earthbound's Ness and lastly, the return of Fox's blue and brash sidekick, Falco.

Based from the entire game series, all "Super Smash Bros 4" characters were also taken from various Nintendo franchises.

Apart from Wario, Ness and Falco, there are nine more characters to be unlocked in the course of the game, including: Bowser Jr. of "Mario," Dark Pit of "Kid Icarus," Dr. Mario, Duck Hunt, Ganondorf from"The Legend of Zelda," Jigglypuff of "Pokemon," Lucina of "Fire Emblem," Mr. Game & Watch and R.O.B. from "Stack-Up."

"Smash Bros." is a game created by Nintendo featuring various game characters like Mario, Mega Man and includes recent cult classics like Xenoblade's Shulk. The rest of the game experience is brought about by supporting and extending dozens of characters.

The "Smash Bros." game is designed to take the characters and some of their game worlds into a four-player battle game. Players then enjoy taking those chosen characters into the combat arenas and fight until the character's time or lives run out. Unlocking different known characters is one strength of this game as well.

The game uses a percentage meter rather than life meter. The higher percentage a player gets, the more likely his character will be defeated. Once the game character is thrown out of the ring, the player loses a life or a point.

The 3D version of the game was released first in Japan on September 13. It was also reported that during the incoming winter or holiday season, the Wii U version of the game will be released.
