'Suits' season 6 episode 6 spoilers: Mike doesn't want to cooperate with Harvey? Jessica tries to uplift company's status?
Will Mike Ross be one step closer to freedom when "Suits" season 6 returns for its sixth episode on Wednesday?
If the fourth and fifth episodes of "Suits'" current season, respectively titled "Turn" and "Trust" are anything to go by, it looks like instability and fickleness are the outstanding themes. The importance of honoring promises and doing what is necessary to keep things afloat were touched, too. An example of a promise made was Rachel (Meghan Markle) telling Leonard Bailey that he would get a retrial. Nevertheless, if there's anything "Suits" is good at, it is in being unconventional.
Meanwhile, in episode 5, the remaining employees of Pearson, Specter, Litt were shown doing their best to win back the prestige that the firm lost following the Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) scandal. The same episode showed Harvey (Gabriel Macht) defending William Sutter (Alan Rosenberg) as a favor to Sean Cahill (Neal McDonough). Elsewhere, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) got busy looking for a house they could remodel.
In the upcoming episode 6 titled "Spain," Louis would put his plan to win Tara Messer's (Carly Pope) heart into action by proposing a trip to the Hamptons. Jessica (Gina Torres) would work with Rachel's law school assignment so they could re-open Bailey's case.
As for Mike possibly getting one step closer to freedom, it looks like his and Harvey's plan would be derailed in a big way. In the last episode, Mike agreed to snitch Kevin Miller (Eric Palladino) for information in exchange for his freedom. However, Mike made no progress in the episode, and instead, he learned that Kevin was in prison for a horrific drunk-driving incident. Moreover, something tied to Mike's past could spoil his Kevin-related plan of getting out of prison in a big way.
