'Star Wars Episode 8' spoilers: Yoda appearing?
Now that Darth Vader will finally be back on the big screen, the word now is that Jedi master Yoda could appear in the future as well. "Star Wars Episode 8" will reportedly be the venue for that big comeback.
A Reddit user claims that a staff member from the Yoda Exhibit during the Star Wars Celebration Europe said that one of the puppets for the character was brought to the set of the upcoming film.
A previous report suggested that a set for the Yoda puppet for was built "Star Wars Episode 8" and that Frank Oz, the voice of the beloved character, was allegedly there during the filming as well.
There's no way to confirm this yet, but it is certainly exciting to think about the possibility of another original character like the beloved Yoda returning to the big screen.
In other related news, there is new information with regards to the Rey's (Daisy Ridley) vision in "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" and how it connects to the "Star Wars Episode 8."
Watching the clip, it was pointed out that the scene where Rey lies on the ground after and sees Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 in the midst of the carnage of Jedi students shows what is believed to be the Force Tree, the same one spotted on the set of "Star Wars Episode 8."
This suggests that the scene was located in the planet of Ahch-To, where the said tree is and where a Jedi temple is housed. With regards to Rey's vision, it is said that it takes place in the past rather than the future.
It is believed that the things Rey saw were from the time the Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) led the Knights of Ren in a rebellion against Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Needless to say, this report is advised to be taken with a pinch of salt.
"Star Wars Episode" will be in cinemas Dec. 15, 2017.
