'Sleepy Hollow' season 4 spoilers, plot news: teasers, photos for new episodes revealed

It looks like the cast and crew are now down to the final episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, which will have 13 episodes, which is six fewer than the previous season.

Executive producer M. Raven Metzner recently shared a photo showing the first page of the script for the final episode of the season, which was written by him.

Kamar De Los Reyes, who will play the role of a villain named Jobe in cahoots with the big bad Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies) in "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, has been sharing photos from the set while filming. He posted on Instagram a bunch of photos of himself from the "Sleepy Hollow" set and another with his co-star Davies, whose character will definitely be very much involved with Jobe for some shenanigans.

"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 will serve as a soft reboot of the series with a new setting, which is Washington, D.C., and majority of the original cast replaced by new ones.

The new season will also introduce a new partner for Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) — the single mom, Diana (Janina Gavankar), who will butt heads with him when it comes to working on cases.

While Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) will no longer be part of the show, she will still be mentioned and even shown in the "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 premiere.

The death of Abbie will push Ichabod and the allies he will soon have in the new season to find a new Second Witness and execute missions.

The "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 opener will also have some visual callback to the show's pilot, which should make sense since the show is practically starting over.

According to Kimberly Roots of TV Line, "Ichabod and Diana's first meeting goes just about exactly how you'd expect it."

"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 premieres on Friday, Jan. 6, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
