The First Family is about to get a visitor after "Scandal" cast actress Lauren Bowles as the sister of First Lady Melody Grant.

The "True Blood" alum will play Harmony, who will bring some family drama to the White House when she debuts in the episode titled "Honor Thy Father," which will air on April 2 on ABC.

The presence of Harmony, The Hollywood Reporter warned, will not only reveal Mellie's past but might also jeopardize the First Lady's political ambitions in the popular ABC drama.

It is still not clear if Bowles's character will return in future episodes since "Scandal" is known to have multiple guest stars, but her role is currently scheduled for one episode.

Portia de Rossi's Elizabeth has expressed concern over the arrival of Harmony, saying it could be detrimental against Mellie, who continues to have political aspirations as she and her husband look for a new lame duck president.

"You know what Huck (Guillermo Diaz) did to that room of people selling drugs and Jake (Scott Foley) had to come and cut their heads off? That's what their relationship looks like," Bellamy Young told The Hollywood Reporter.

"It's a bloodbath! It's going to do a great job of trying to derail what Mellie is doing [in terms of running for office]," said Young.

For Bowles, meanwhile, this marks her third trip to Shondaland following guest gigs on "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice."

Bowles has previously guest-starred on "Stalker," "Mom" and on a road trip through Shonda Rhimes' shows "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice."

She is most recognizable for playing the role of Holly Clearly on the HBO vampire drama "True Blood" from 2010 to 2014. She appeared in forty-eight episodes.

She also landed guest roles in various television shows like "Stalker," "The Closer," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Good Luck Charlie" "Veronica Mars," "ER," "Criminal Minds," and "Seinfeld."

In addition to her career on TV, Bowles has also been in many different film productions including "The Heartbreak Kid" from 2007, "Hall Pass," and the 1997 comedy "George of the Jungle."
