Scandal Season 4 Release Date, Spoilers: Where is Olivia Pope?

ABC has released a trailer for the eagerly awaited Scandal Season 4 this coming fall. Kerry Washington, who plays the role of Olivia Pope, gets most of the attention as the show's leading lady.

Kerry's real life pregnancy in Season 3 led to fewer scenes for her on the show. In some scenes where she had to appear, the staff made an effort to conceal Washington's midsection so as to hide the "bulge". After giving birth last April, fans expect to see more of her this season.

It can be remembered that the last episode of the third season left viewers hanging with the question "Where on earth is Olivia Pope?" after seeing the leading lady in a private jet; off to some unknown destination.

The new Scandal Season 4 trailer shows the President in his Oval Office. The phone is ringing and it seems that the president is trying to contact Pope to no avail.

Season 4 is expected to be about Olivia and Fitz getting back together, but we believe that there is so much more to happen.

While there's not a ton of info out there, there's one thing we are sure of: Harrison Wright will soon be out of our sight because Columbus Short is to leave the hit show.

Scandal Season 4 will go live on September 25, Thursday at 9 p.m. on ABC. While the show was doing so well at its 9pm slot, both Scandal and Grey's Anatomy's schedules have been shifted down an hour to make room for their newest show How to Get Away With Murder.
