Rihanna on 'Cocaine' Video: 'I Was Rolling Cigarette, Not Snorting Coke'
Songstress Rihanna has fired back after a Vine video that went viral allegedly showed her snorting what her accuser claimed was "cocaine" at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival in Indio, California.
The video posted on Instagram shows Rihanna's friends dancing closely to the Grammy winner, according to NYMag.com. Then it shows Rihanna, in black clothing and wearing purple lipstick, sitting in a front of a table while holding something long and white. She puts it down and says something before the camera focuses to a friend in pink who is dancing with a guy in blue who sports long hair. The camera again pans back to Rihanna, who bops her head while holding her nose like she is snorkeling along to the beat.
The video was posted by fly.xhuksta, which has since been removed but not before the 27-year-old singer allegedly posted this comment:
"N---- your lame ass got some f------ nerve!!! Any fool could see that's a joint that I'm basing with cigarette! Who snorts tobacco??!! FOH witcho 'never been to a rodeo so someone squeezing their nose means they're doing coke' lookin ass!!"
Another video opens with a friend of Rihanna, who is holding in her right hand something long. This girl appears to be the same person who wore pink in the Vine video. Then it pans to Rihanna, who seem to be rolling something on the table. This time, the video was posted by Rihanna herself on Instagram, with username @badgalriri.
The clip appears to be taken in the same setting as the Vine video and seems to show the singer doing exactly what she claimed she was doing, and that is rolling a cigarette.
Rihanna also posted a picture of her on Instagram, which shows her holding a can of Coca-Cola with straw on it, "in an apparent reference to the controversial video," commented NYMag.com. The photo had a caption #pretty.
