'Red Dead Redemption 2' release date news update: Game sequel to be PS4 Neo exclusive game?

Many years have already passed since Rockstar Games released the latest installment in the highly popular "Red Dead" game franchise, the "Red Dead Redemption." Many fans believe that it is probably high time for the game developer company to release a new sequel that will continue the story of "Red Dead Redemption 2." According to the latest rumors, there is a growing possibility that the sequel is now on its way, and it might be announced in the near future.

One of the sound speculations regarding "Red Dead Redemption 2" is the game title being an exclusive for the upcoming updated PlayStation 4 home console, the PS4 Neo. The new PlayStation Neo console is reportedly arriving late this year, or possibly in the early months of 2017, and so it will be a good timing if the "Red Dead Redemption" sequel is released shortly after the PS4 Neo is launched, according to iTech Post. However, Rockstar Games has not yet confirmed this report, as well as Sony that is currently developing the PS4 Neo.

It has been reported that a huge announcement from Rockstar Games can be expected by the "Red Dead Redemption" fans before the year ends. The big announcement may happen something in November, although there is no 100 percent assurance that Rockstar's announcement will be about the "Red Dead Redemption 2." 

In the meantime, fans of the "Red Dead" franchise can look forward to the upcoming HD remastered version of "Red Dead Redemption," as Game Rant reported that Rockstar Games will announce the special "Red Dead Redemption" game version this week. It will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC gaming platforms. It is expected that the HD remastered video game will be available in the first part of 2017.
