'Real Housewives of New York' 2016 news: Hugh Grant 'may end up with' one of them?

Hugh Grant made a name for himself as the charming lead in some of Hollywood's most notable romantic comedy films. Recently, though, the British actor admitted that he "might end up with" one of the cast members of Bravo TV's "Real Housewives of New York" after frequent off-the-show encounters with some of them.

In the show "Watch What Happens Live," host Andy Cohen brought up Grant's meet-and-greet with "Real Housewives of New York" star Luann de Lesseps. Cohen reportedly contacted Lesseps and verified her starstruck encounter with the "Notting Hill" actor after the host learned about the story from his sources.

Lesseps also admitted on People Now, as reported by People, that she ran into Grant at Pierre's in Bridgehampton and "ended up having tequila" and "a little kiss."

While Grant did not mention the kiss, he did say that hooking up with one of the ladies in the hit show is not entirely impossible.

"They love me, those Housewives. Wherever I go, I bump into a Housewife. I find them very charming. I may end up with one," Grant said as quoted in a report by Bravo's The Daily Dish.

Despite his boy-next-door persona, the "Florence Foster Jenkins" actor has his own share of controversies and intriguing comments on topics like love and marriage. Back in 1995, Grant blasted into the entertainment headlines after he was arrested in an incident involving a prostitute named Divine Brown.

Just recently, the 55-year-old actor dropped in on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show and made quite an interesting comment about people who are extremely dedicated to their marriage.

"I always admire the French and the Italians who are very devoted to their marriages. They take them extremely seriously, but it is understood that there might be other visitors at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. You just never boast about. They never say anything, but that's what keeps marriages together," Grant said in the interview.

The actor may still be searching for love but he remains a bachelor to this day. Meanwhile, Hugh Grant has fathered four children with Anna Eberstein and Tinglan Hong.
