Barely a week to go before the month gives way to August, various speculations abound regarding the free games included in PlayStation Plus Free Games for August 2016. There is even a speculation that Sony would release one triple-A title in keeping with a tradition started two months ago.

At the start of July, "Saints Row IV: Gat out of Hell" for the PS4 and "Call of Juarez: Gunslinger" for PS3 were among the triple-A titles included in the games that PlayStation gave away free. Prior to those two titles, "NBA 2K16" was included in the Instant Game Collection for June. Hence, fans are expecting that at least one triple-A title would be among this month's roster.

Sony has a vast receptacle of big game titles to choose from, and Tech News Today made some wild educated guesses. Still, fans are cautioned to take these titles for what they are, which are pure speculations.

Among the titles TNT thinks would purportedly be included are "The Last of Us Remastered," "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016," "Batman: Arkham Knight," "Knack," "Killzone: Shadowfall," and "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition."

There are talks that "Yakuza 5" would be among the free games PlayStation would be giving away for August. According to PlayStation Universe, it was previously accidentally included on the PS Plus free downloads, and some fans were fortunate enough to get it before it was taken down. The mistake was immediately corrected, and by the time the game was put back on the store, it bore the price tag of $40.

Some other games that might be offered for the PS4 are "Bloodborne" and "Infamous Second Son." PlayStation 3 players, on the other hand, could expect "Gran Turismo 5" and "God of War 3" even as new installments for these two games are said to be in the works. PlayStation Vita players could expect free games to include installments from "Dead or Alive," "The Evil Within," and "Resident Evil."

Breathecast is quick to note that all these are based on rumors and predictions. Fans would have to wait for Sony's official announcement to verify the veracity of titles that would be given away free.
