'Prison Break' season 5 spoilers: Sara's new husband goes after Michael?

After the record-breaking release of the new trailer for "Prison Break" season 5, more details have surfaced about the highly anticipated return of Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) to the small screen.

The new morsel of details involves how Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) met and ended up marrying Jacob Ness, one of the new characters fans will meet in the revival played by actor Mark Feuerstein.

"In that time while he was presumed dead, he stalked her and fell in love with her and we got married," the actor said at the Television Critics Association press tour via Deadline.

"She had no idea [Michael] was anywhere and suddenly he's alive and somewhere tension ensues," he went on to say about how the return of Michael will change things between Jacob and Sara in "Prison Break" season 5.

There is not much known about Jacob. He was shown in the new trailer, but there is not much to take away from that. The writers, however, dropped a few hints last year about the new "Prison Break" season 5 character, suggesting that he will not be endeared to many.

"I feel like you guys aren't gonna give Jacob a chance. It's not his fault he had to follow Michael Scofield," the writers teased in a tweet.

This suggests that he knows a lot about Sara, her life and even Michael being alive after being presumed dead by basically everybody for seven years.

It will be interesting to see how Jacob will react when his wife starts to look for Michael in "Prison Break" season 5. Sara, as seen in the trailer, is still quite the badass that fans remember in the original series.

She was shown wielding a gun as he asked an unseen someone for information. It looks like she will be more involved in Michael's prison break than expected.

"Prison Break" season 5 will premiere on Tuesday, April 4, on FOX.
