'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 news: Aria and Ezra get married? Ian Harding Instagram snap leaves clues
Some barely discernible clues in a recent Instagram post by actor Ian Harding may have hinted at a potential Aria-Ezra wedding in the back half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7.
The future of Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra's (Ian Harding) relationship was left up in the air at the end of the first half of season 7. To fans' delight, Ezra proposed to Aria. But the couple's joy was short-lived as Nicole (Rebecca Breeds), Ezra's ex-girlfriend, reappeared.
Nicole had been kidnapped by revolutionaries while volunteering in South America and had been presumed dead. In season 7, Ezra and Aria found out that Nicole was alive. Ezra was seen reuniting with Nicole, thus putting the future of "Ezria" in jeopardy.
But an Instagram snap posted by Harding over the weekend may have hinted that Aria and Ezra are nonetheless getting married. In the Instagram post, Harding thanked Hale, writing: "You're a gem miss Hale. I'll miss you tremendously. Much love and Happy wrap."
A closer look at the photo, which showed Hale, revealed that the actress may be decked out in bridalwear. The actress was sporting a seemingly bridal up-do and there was even some white tulle peeking out from behind her head.
In addition, the fact that Hale was photographed with a jacket draped over her clothing has had fans speculating that she could be wearing a wedding dress underneath. Interestingly, the bottom left of the Instagram photo showed a bit of sparkly white cloth escaping from beneath the jacket.
If Hale was indeed wearing a wedding dress in the snap, it could also be for a dream sequence and not an actual wedding. But knowing just how much fans are looking forward to an Aria-Ezra wedding, is it possible that "Pretty Little Liars" creator I. Marlene King is actually giving them what they want?
Last week, King marked the show's final day of filming with a farewell message on Instagram. "Today marks the series wrap on 'Pretty Little Liars,' my home away from home for the last seven seasons," she wrote.
"When I call 'cut' on the very last scene, all five #PLLs will be in the shot," she added. "Tears will be spilled, gifts will be exchanged, and final memories will be made. The most meaningful gift, however, is that we call ourselves 'PLL Family' because that is how much we mean to each other," she continued.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 returns in spring 2017 on Freeform.
