'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 episode 10 spoilers news 2016: Someone will die in show's summer finale? Will it be one of the Liars?

The summer finale of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is only a few days away, and from the looks of it, it will be one bloody episode. However, two questions stand. Who will die in episode 10 before the show goes on a short hiatus? Will it be one of the Liars?

To recap the events of episode 9 titled "The Wrath of Khan," the reason behind Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) and Jason DiLaurentis' (Drew Van Acker) secretive looks and seemingly coded conversations was finally revealed. Apparently, the two hooked up at one point during the five-year time jump between seasons 6 and 7.

The truth was let out when Jason accompanied Aria to the courthouse for some investigative mission. While there, a flashback of their fling from five years ago was shown. It featured the intriguing scene included in the episode 9 trailer showing Aria getting out of Jason's bed. Fans of the show know that Aria has always had a crush on Jason, and the feeling could have been mutual, but they never went beyond their boundaries. Now that Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) seems to be missing in action, will "Jaria" finally happen?

Meanwhile, Aria and Jason discovered that it was actually Noel Khan's (Brant Daugherty) father, a judge, who signed Mary Drake's (Andrea Parker) adoption papers. On the other hand, Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) and Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) were seen snooping in Noel's house. Emily found a flash drive with recorded evidence of Noel helping Charlotte DiLaurentis (Vanessa Ray) torture her and her friends in the dollhouse.

However, since Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) wasn't aware of it, she went rogue a second time when her plan to drug Noel fell through. Episode 9 ended with her hitting Noel on the head with a baseball bat.

In the summer finale airing on Tuesday titled "The Darkest Knight," Spencer will chastise Hanna for trying to take down Noel on her own, with a tied up Noel inches away from them. However, they later realize that he has managed to escape, and worse, he's called on Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) for backup.

The promo trailer for the said episode shows Jenna aiming a gun at one of the Liars, and the next shows someone lying on a heap on the floor, presumably dead. Did Jenna shoot one of the Liars? The outfit of the one on the floor resembles the dress Spencer was wearing. Could Jenna have shot her?

One thing is sure, though. A Liar who is part of a couple will not die. In fact, there will be a happy ending for three couples in the summer finale. This was something showrunner Marlene King assured fans in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"There are three sets of shippers that will be very happy with this finale," she said.

The summer finale (episode 10) of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 will air on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. on Freeform.
