'Pokemon Sun and Moon' news, update: Latest demo reveals new battle system; starter Pokemon's final evolution revealed
The fans are hyped up as the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game, "Pokemon Sun and Moon," will be released in the coming weeks. Game Freak has been releasing teaser videos and game demo to give the fans an idea of what to expect in the next "Pokemon" game title. It is known that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will introduce the mysterious Alola region, as well as its unique Alolan Pokemon residents.
As reported by iTech Post, a game demo was recently released for "Pokemon Sun and Moon," revealing the new gameplay contents and more Alolan Pokemon. It was noted from the game demo that the Pokemon battle system has been changed. More importantly, the battle system is made to become more realistic compared to that of the previous "Pokemon" titles.
Meanwhile, the online publication reported that the hackers took advantage of the recent release of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game demo. They claim to be successful in datamining files from the upcoming game to spoil its contents ahead of the release. One of the things said to be discovered by these data miners is the Alolan Meowth of "Pokemon Sun and Moon." The appearance of the Alolan Meowth is similar to what has been revealed of the character in the previous teasers. However, the interesting part is the evolution of the Alolan Meowth. Many fans thought that the leaked image of the Alolan Persian has quite a huge face compared to its original Pokemon form.
Polygon said that the puffier appearance of the Alolan Persian might be Game Freak's attempt to make the new Pokemon similar to their counterpart in the real world. To note, the real life Persian cats have big and rounded face, just like the one found out by the data miners.
Meanwhile, a leak for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" was posted recently on Twitter by a person known as ProfShroomish. The post reveals all the final evolution forms of the Alolan starter Pokemon. The post has all the Pokemon characters with the Legendaries and new Ultra Beasts of "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
