To pay respects to the former "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker who died from a tragic car accident last year, the makers of "Fast and Furious 7" have renamed the film "Furious 7."

Vin Diesel recently announced that the seventh instalment of the franchise will hit the big screen on April 3, 2015. He also shared a production photo on his Facebook account. The film was originally scheduled for an April 10, 2015 release, but this was moved to April 3 following the announcement of the film being retitled.

Meanwhile, Chris (Ludacris) Bridges also posted a teaser for the next franchise instalment, captioned "7 seconds of Fast 7." Fans want more, but the short teaser somehow satisfied fans' longing for the much-anticipated movie.

Ludacris will be part of an-all star cast that includes Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black and Elsa Pataky. And yes, we will be seeing Paul Walker on the big screen for the last time as well.

The movie was already ongoing production when Paul Walker figured in a deadly car crash. His brothers, Caleb and Cody, agreed to join the production as Paul's doubles for the movie.

Diesel thanked Paul Walker's brothers for their efforts to help them complete the film.

"It was validating in a way that his family cared so much about this saga and the completion of Paul's last work," Diesel told Entertainment Tonight.

Vin shared a photo of Paul's brother on Facebook, which was taken on their set in Dubai. "After spending time with his biological brothers, I must say to the parents, you raised some great kids," Diesel said.
