The premiere date of the third season of Netflix's "Orange is the New Black" is yet to be announced but production is well underway, with various stars from the show dropping hints from behind the scenes.

Stars of the show have been shooting selfies from the production, and Jessica Pimentel has been one of the advocates of these selfies. She even posted a photograph of the trailers lined up for the shoot.

Adrinne C. Moore also showed her fans a sneak peek of what is happening on the production by posting a selfie of her sitting on a chair with her character's name, Cindi, on it.

Selenis Leyva, Dascha Polanco, Danielle Brooks, Kimiko Glenn, Emma Myles and Julie Lake have all been posting selfies of the ongoing production of the show, sparking excitement among fans of the hit Netflix show.

Meanwhile, author Piper Kerman, revealed that there are a few plot twists fans could expect for the coming season.

Kerman said that season 3 will have "really amazing stories and twists and turns." She also mentioned that there will be some flashbacks on the characters as they introduce new ones.

As a consultant of the show, she did not say much about the details of these plot twists. However, when she spoke to the students at the University of Massachusetts, she hinted on a few scenes.

"One of the things that Jenji Kohan has said about Season 3 already on record is that an exploration of faith is a big part of what she is planning and what they have scripted so far," said Kerman.

Kerman also said that her "ex," Cleary Wolters, shown as Alex Vause in the show, will release a book about her experience in prison as well.

"I expect that my ex-lover's book will be a fascinating read. She's had a very different life, and her story is very different from mine. For one thing, she was much more involved in narcotics trafficking, and for the other thing she served a lot more time in prison than I did," Kerman said.
