OnePlus 3T news, release date: OnePlus to launch smartphone on Nov. 14?
Though there isn't any official announcement from Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus, reports are suggesting that the tech company will launch the device this coming Nov. 14.
Previous reports claimed that the OnePlus 3T smartphone, which has also been called the OnePlus 3S, will be launched in December. But a recent leak suggested that the device will be arriving much sooner. A Chinese social networking site called Weibo reportedly claimed that the OnePlus 3T will be unveiled in London on Nov. 14.
Furthermore, the leak revealed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor, which will have 6 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, its internal storage option will come in two variations for internal storage options, either 64 GB or 128 GB. A new color option, black, will reportedly be made available during the launching of the smartphone.
The OnePlus 3T will allegedly have a larger battery capacity, with 3,300 mAh instead of the usual 3,000 mAh battery from the preceding unit.
TechRadar noted that Apple and Google both added this color to its respective smartphone lines. The news outlet believes that OnePlus will follow this trend.
As previously reported, the upcoming unit is expected to be waterproof and have better features, including an LCD panel. On the other hand, the smartphone is also believed to come with a larger price tag. The OnePlus 3T will reportedly cost at least $479.
A device from OnePlus called A3010 has reportedly passed Chinese regulators. If this device is the alleged OnePlus 3T, it is possible for the smartphone to launch very soon. Since OnePlus has yet to comment on the recent claims, tech junkies should treat the latest reports as speculation until proven otherwise.
Watch out for more updates on the OnePlus 3T.
