'Once Upon a Time' Winter Finale Spoilers, Plot News: Storybrooke Recovers from 'Shattered Sight' Spell

The heroes of "Once Upon a Time" will try to recover from the aftermath of the Snow Queen's spell while Regina (Lana Parrilla) will have to make a "difficult choice" in the finale of the hit fantasy series on Sunday, Dec. 14, 8 p.m. ET/PT, on ABC.

Last week's episode featured an angry Evil Queen (Elizabeth Mitchell) who wanted to kill Snow White badly. Arendelle's Snow Queen, also known as Ingrid or Sarah Fisher, cast a "Shattered Sight" spell over Storybrooke.

The official synopsis for Episode 11 reads: "While Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Elsa (Georgina Haig) attempt to take down the Snow Queen (Mitchell), the other citizens of Storybrooke are consumed with hatred for each other."

In the 12th and final episode, Storybrooke will recover from the Spell of Shattered Sight.

Mr. Gold (Colin O'Donoghue) is still hungry for power and will continue his quest, However, it will "threaten everything he holds dear," according to the episode synopsis.

Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will stay at the Rumplestiltskin's castle, but an intrusion will "wreak havoc."

Three new villains are to star in the second half of the season, which include Kristin Bauer (Maleficent), Victoria Smurfit (Cruella De Vil) and Merrin Dungey (Ursula). The "intrusion" may stop these three villains from entering Storybrooke.

The final episode will show Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna's (Elizabeth Lail) as they return to Arendelle.
