'Once Upon A Time' season 6 spoilers: New details on Land of Untold Stories and how it will bring Emma in full Savior mode
"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will take fans to the Land of Untold Stories, and although it is a place that the show is yet to visit, it is something that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) has a lot to do with it.
During an interview with TVLine, show co-creator Adam Horowitz first described the "Untold Story," unsurprisingly, as a story "yet to play out."
"You're going to see that a lot of people went to the Land of Untold Stories because they wanted to literally push 'pause,' like they were watching their own life on TiVo," he described.
In "Once Upon A Time" season 6, the question on what happens to stories if they do not end the way they were expected to end and were "suspended midstream."
More than that, it will also explore the reason some characters defer their stories. However, in the new season of the show, Hyde's (Sam Witwer) actions will give these characters no choice but to continue.
"What you'll be seeing is our characters wanting to help," Kitsis explained. "And we see Emma back in the position where she's a Savior trying to help people find their happiness," he continued.
Emma's decision to help them of course marks the return of "Once Upon A Time" to its roots, where in the Savior goes out of her way and helps others in need.
Season 6 will make things extra fun of course by having Emma realize that there are other Saviors before her. This is ultimately where Aladdin enters the picture as he himself was a Savior like Emma.
Meanwhile, "Once Upon A Time" season 6 will also play with the past and how it can affect the present of the characters. This is especially true with Hook (Colin O'Donoghue).
"Dallas" alum Faran Tahir is joining the series as Captain Nemo from the literary classic "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." The character will be most interacting with Hook.
"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will premiere Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
