'Once Upon a Time' Season 4 Episode 4 Spoilers for 'The Apprentice'

"Once Upon a Time" Season 4 viewers did not find out about the Storybrooke ice cream shop until Episode 2. It turned out to be the root cause of the problems in the town.

The previous episode introduced a new villain—the dangerous Snow Queen.

This week's episode, entitled "The Apprentice," will revolve around the story of Emma and Hook. In this episode, we will finally see these two characters go on their first date. Emma decides to ditch her pair of jeggings for a dress, while Hook gets rid of his leather jacket for a shorter one.

Hook, determined to look as "nice" as he can, also decides to have Mr. Gold reconnect his hand that was cut off many years ago. However, things turn nasty as the hand turns out to be cursed by Mr. Gold, who apparently has other plans.

The show is also about to unveil a new character as reported by Spoiler TV—Cedar Cove. The character will be played by Timothy Webber.

Fans also expect the Snow Queen to have another encounter with Emma. It appears that the new villain knows Emma too well.

Elizabeth Mitchell, who plays the role of the Snow Queen, talked about her character and Emma in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "I know that everyone thinks it might be negative, so Emma must think that. I can say it's surprising, but I can't really [say much] because it's so much a part of the whole thing," Mitchell said.

She went on: "It's one of those ones where it's definitely worth keeping an eye on, and it does mean a lot to both of them—which is fun because I like spending time with Jennifer. She's awesome. It's important, and it's big, and it has a lot to do with the mythology of things, which I love."

"After Emma asks Hook out on a real first date, Hook visits Mr. Gold and asks for his hand to be reattached so that he can embrace her with both hands. But magic always comes with a price.

"Henry and Mary Margaret try to offer hope to Regina when she becomes frustrated over not being able to find a cure to save a frozen Marian, and Will Scarlet attempts to break into the Storybrooke library to find a special book.

"Meanwhile, back in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Rumplestiltskin is after a magical box that the Sorcerer's apprentice is guarding, and he may use Elsa's sister Anna to help him get it."

The next episode, entitled "The Apprentice," will air on Oct. 19, 2014 on ABC.
