Though the NX is a well-kept Nintendo secret, many believe the console will be far greater than preceding devices. Its new design and features will reportedly be unveiled within the month.

The company has been consistent in following its own path, without being bothered about features and graphics comparisons with competing consoles. Nintendo has been mum about the release date of its new Nintendo NX, which created doubts about its competency against the newer versions of Xbox and PS4. However, some believe that the silence about the release may have resulted in high expectations among its fans.

According to a report by the Express, fans can forget the Nintendo NX because the gaming giant might go retro with the release of its classic Nintendo Mini NES. Many believe that the Mini NES might come before the NX. The same report said the NES will be available in the market starting Nov. 11.

Meanwhile, another report claimed the Nintendo NX will be unveiled on the 21st of October.

The same report revealed that the Macquire Group presented marketing collaterals that suggested the upcoming Nintendo titles will feature exciting gameplay. For instance, the new Super Mario game will have "four titles on deck," the report said.

Although there are several rumours about bundled prices costing around $350 to $400, it is safe to say that the Nintendo NX will cost around $300.

In terms of its specs, Nintendo NX will be able to support 4k streaming on different sites and will be able to play videos at 1080p and 60 fps. Many predicted that the new console will have an Augmented Reality (AR) feature as well as a new a hybrid design.

Nintendo has yet to comment on the recent reports. Fans of the franchise should treat the recent reports as speculation until proven otherwise.
