Netflix January 2017 content list: movies and TV shows scheduled for streaming in the coming weeks
Netflix may be growing its original content portfolio especially when it scored a lot of both critical and commercial successes particularly from last year's breakout series, "Stranger Things." However, that does not necessarily mean that it is ready to give up its pioneering service of bringing blockbuster movies and even TV shows to the comforts of its subscribers' homes. This month, the streaming giant is bringing in a slew of mixed media, on which fans can happily binge to start the new year right.
The growing library received over 21 new movies back in the first day of the month enough to satiate viewing needs for a couple of days. The list is impressive, to say the least, with the perfect mix of classics, popcorn flicks and acclaimed movies including "Braveheart," "E.T. The Extra Terrestrial" and "Ocean's Twelve." The following day took a break in terms of releases with the party resuming tomorrow with the addition of TV show in FX's "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: Season 1" and Family's "Degrassi: Next Class: Season 3" as well as the film "Jen Kirkman: Just Keep Livin'?"
